Terms of Service

The terms for travelling with Atlas.

Draft · pending legal review · last updated 6 October 2026

1. What Signal Atlas is

Signal Atlas is a travel guide that combines editorial curation, current local information and your own saved places. Recommendations come with their sources where they exist. Information about places, events, prices and opening times can change, and you should check the source before you rely on it.

2. Your account

You can read, ask and save without an account. Signing in keeps your Passport, Stacks and Credits with you. One person has one account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure.

3. Bookings and providers

Signal Atlas does not book, reserve or sell tickets on your behalf. When Atlas hands you to a venue, ticket seller or other provider, that provider handles availability, booking, payment and its own terms. A link is not confirmed availability.

4. Paid products

Atlas Trip is a one-time purchase for one journey and includes Atlas Credits. Passport and Founding Passport are yearly memberships that include Atlas Credits each paid year and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing; access continues until the end of the year you have paid for. Prices are shown before you pay, and tax is calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Atlas Credits

Credits pay for premium work Atlas does on your behalf, such as checking a stop against its source or preparing a private edition of a trip. The cost is shown and confirmed before anything is spent. Credits are not money, cannot be cashed out or transferred, and have no value outside Signal Atlas. If a check fails on our side, the Credit is returned. If a purchase is refunded, the Credits it granted are removed.

6. Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Where the law where you live gives you additional rights, those rights apply.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other people's data, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be shown on this page with a new date before they take effect.
